Collection: WORK SHOES

Safety shoes are footwear designed to protect workers' feet in dangerous environments; they are identified according to an alphanumeric code that indicates the European safety regulations to which they comply. Here are the characteristics of the main classifications:

  • SB work shoes : the basic safety shoes whose difference compared to a commonly used shoe consists in the addition of a steel-reinforced toe cap to protect the toes from falling heavy objects and an oil-resistant sole.
  • S1/S1P work shoes : in addition to toe protection, these shoes have a sole that is non-slip not only for oils, but also for hydrocarbons. Furthermore, the heel area is structured to absorb shock and thus protect against the effects of impacts. If a. appears next to the abbreviation S1 P , this means that inside the shoe there is also a particular anti-perforation insole.
  • S2 work shoes : the S2 code indicates that water-repellent protection is also added but not total waterproofing against liquids.
  • S3 work shoes : in addition to the features listed above, an anti-perforation insole is added to work safely on rough terrain and on construction sites.
  • Then there are the safety standards S4 And S5 which are totally waterproof - they are footwear made of rubber and polymeric materials - and can withstand immersion in water. The former are equipped with a reinforced toe cap, non-slip sole, anti-static protection and heel protection; the latter additionally have an anti-perforation plate.

There are also two further protections:

  • There anti-slip protection which is tested according to specific resistance standards on a ceramic surface covered with water and on a steel surface covered with glycerine, indicated with the acronym SRC .
  • There electrostatic and electromagnetic protection which places all our products under additional classification ESD .
